Hmm, that might be an interesting thing to pursue. Right now, all the entries are just Markdown but otherwise plain-text files.

I suppose I *could* possibly do something funky with git blame to try assigning IDs associated with commits.

Couldn’t you use the timestamp in the git commit object to figure out when something was added?
